of Active Galactic Nuclei at all wavelengths, from nearby AGN to the high-redshift universe.
It aims at bringing together scientists in the field of AGN,
to exchange ideas and perform lively discussions, and to start future collaborations.
The format of the meeting will consist of a series
of invited review talks, plus contributed talks and posters.
The following topics will be covered:
Central engine of AGN (accretion disk, jets, black hole mass estimates)
The conference fee will be 90 US-Dollar (half of that for students),
to be paid upon arrival.
Proceedings will be published.
LOCATION:
The workshop will be held in the first week of August
in Lijiang, where NAOC is building a new optical observatory.
The meeting is close in time to the ZhangHeng Astronomical
meeting of the Chinese astronomers
in Kunming.
It precedes the IAU Symposium 214
on High Energy Processes and Phenomena in Astrophysics, to be held in Suzhou (August 5-10).
