As you see, I patched against blead after all, and added a new section
to perlhack's podfile.  

However, there's one quote I couldn't/didn't touch.  It's from the wrong,
um, place.  It's in ext/threads/shared/shared.xs and reads:

I've CC'd the aforeobfuscated parties to see whether any of them mightn't
please suggest a Tolkien quote to replace the existing quote.  I noticed a
couple that might work, just casually flipping through.  

There's this one, short and pithy (but maybe better for forks ;-} :

/*
 * 'We shall have to share pipes, as good friends must at a pinch.'
 *                                                         --Merry
 *
 *     [p.562 of _The Lord of the Rings_, III/x: "Flotsam and Jetsam"]
 */

or else this:

/*
 *  'Yes,' said Gandalf, 'these doors are probably governed by words.
 *   Some dwarf-gates will open only at special times, or for particular
 *   persons; and some have locks and keys that are still needed when
 *   all necessary times and words are known.'
 *

There are probably better ones, though.
