Can we do these yet?

How do I check out the appropriate git branch for blead to a given perforce
revision number? And the same task, but for maint-5.8? (and maint-5.10)

(Having just spent some time merrily bisecting my way backwards and forwards
with perforce revision numbers to track down when something changed)
