Hints file for MirOS BSD
Hi,
I've been trying out MirOS BSD ( also known as MirBSD ) after seeing it mentioned in a use.perl post
by Schwern.
<http://use.perl.org/~schwern/journal/37465>
MirOS BSD is a fork of OpenBSD, its project website is <http://www.mirbsd.org/>
It comes with perl-5.8.8. Looking at the provided source code package I found that there is a mirbsd.sh
hints file.
After a little bit of fiddling with compiler flags to eliminate some annoying warnings from the propolice
gcc that is included with MirOS and to add in the library and include paths to the MirPorts directories
(/usr/mpkg/{include,lib}) I've got a reasonable hints file.
It might not be pretty, but it works for me with perl-5.8.8 and perl-5.10.0
Cheers,
