This is a bug report for perl from cpan2@tinita.de,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.35 running under perl v5.8.8.

I get this with perl 5.8.8, and it's also producing the same result in
bleadperl and 5.10.

print $qr;

Unmatched ( in regex; marked by <-- HERE in m/( <-- HERE ?-xism: \\/ at (eval 1) line 1.
